Astley Park restrictions and access during the set up of Chorley Flower Show
To enable set up and break down of the Chorley Flower Show, some areas of Astley Park will be closed from Tuesday 21 July to Friday 7 August, however the Coach House including Café Ambio, Barrica in the Park and the Astley Hall Gift Shop and Information Centre will all remain open (as per their usual opening hours). Astley Hall will be closed from Monday 20th July until the start of Chorley Flower Show.
A diversion route will be in place so that you can still get from one end of the park to the other but please allow additional time.
During Chorley Flower Show, 31 July, 1 and 2 August, Astley Hall and the businesses in the Coach House and Farm House will only be open to those with a ticket for the show. Entry to Astley Hall is included in the Chorley Flower Show ticket price.
The diversion route around the park will still be in place for those wanting to walk through or access the areas not within the event.
Buying Chorley Flower Show tickets
- Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day (by cash or card).
- Tickets are available at an early bird price until and including Tuesday 30 June
- Ticket information can be found here
- Children age 15 and under get free entry to the show. If you are purchasing tickets online, please select a £0.00 child ticket.
ACCESS TO CHORLEY FLOWER SHOW
- Day ticket holders will be given a wristband on exiting the show should they wish to reenter at a later time on the same day. Weekend (3-day) ticket holders will be given a wristband on their first entry to the show so they can exit and return to the show during the weekend. Should you wish to use any of the park’s other facilities outside the show area, such as the children’s play area, then you are welcome to leave and return as you wish, but you must be wearing your wristband to re-enter.

DOGS
Dogs are allowed in the show area but must be on leads at all time. If you want to exercise your dog you can exit the show area and return if you are wearing your wristband.

TOILETS AND BABY CHANGING
We have toilets and baby change facilities throughout the park.
FOOD AND DRINK
There'll be plenty of delicious food and drink at Chorley Flower Show:
- Café Ambio and Barrica in the Park will be open during the event to Chorley Flower Show ticket holders.
- There will be a variety of food traders throughout the show, including a dedicated food village with seating which is along side our entertainment stage, outside Astley Hall and close to the Bloomin Big Marquee.

PLANT AND PRODUCT CRÉCHE
If you have bought the plants and items you want and want to enjoy the rest of your visit without carrying them around, we have a plant crèche by Astley Hall.
Astley Hall
Areas of the ground floor of Astley Hall will be open for show visitors to enjoy, with a floral installation by Rita Millat, included in the Chorley Flower Show ticket price.
Please note during the show there will be no access to Astley Hall for those without Chorley Flower Show tickets.
ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
- Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcomed in all areas.
- Toilets
There will be disabled toilets at the site.
- Catering
All catering facilities are fully accessible however please be aware some areas are located on grass.
- Exhibits
All marquees are accessible, and all gardens and floral exhibits can be viewed from ground level.
- Astley Hall
The ground floor of Astley Hall is accessible to wheelchair users. The flooring on the ground floor is a mixture of stone flags (Great Hall and Kitchen area), wood (passageways and Morning Room) and carpet.
There is no hearing loop system in place.
Interpretation in rooms is set at appropriate heights according to museum guidance
Background music is played on occasion in the Hall but can be turned off if requested
Coach House - The first floor of the Coach House accessible by lift.
- Disabled assistance
Attendants cannot be provided but one companion is admitted free of charge per visitor who requires assistance. Please book a free carer ticket at the time of booking but please note you must be accompanying the person you are caring for. See the tickets webpage for details of how to do this.

- Disabled Parking
Limited blue badge parking is available on Hallgate car park at the back of Astley Hall (PR7 1XA). If this gets full we will have a drop-off point on Hallgate car park but the car will need to be parked on one of the other car parks. Please note there is no event parking in Astley Village. - Wheelchairs and mobility scooters
ShopMobility will be attending this year’s show. Visitors can pre-book the hire of a mobility scooter for the show by contacting Chorley Shopmobility direct by emailing chorleyshopmobilty@yahoo.co.uk or calling 01257 260888.

SAFETY AT THE SHOW
The health and safety of visitors to Chorley Flower Show is our top priority. Please report anything suspicious or unusual to a member of staff.
PLEASE RESPECT OTHERS
We have taken steps to ensure the event is well organised and safe for everyone to enjoy. Please respect other visitors and listen to the instructions of stewards.
Smoking/vaping is not permitted in any of the buildings or marquees and we’d ask you to respect others if you are smoking/vaping within the show area.
