Charlie Dimmock
One of Britain’s best known and best loved gardeners, Charlie Dimmock, will be heading to this year’s Chorley Flower Show on Saturday 1 August.
Having first come to the nation’s attention on BBC1’s incredibly popular Ground Force filmed both here and in the US, Charlie has gone on to present amongst other things, Cheer for Charlie, Charlie and the Duchess, Garden Invaders and Chelsea Flower Show, for the BBC.
At Chorley Flower Show, visitors can look forward to inspiring talks from Charlie, along with the chance to meet her.
We’ll be welcoming Martin Fish, Jill Fish and Jonathan Moseley back for all three days of the Chorley Flower Show as they share their expert knowledge and top tips with visitors, in The Potting Shed Garden Theatre.
Jonathan Moseley
Jonathan is well-known floral designer and popular demonstrator at flower shows and a regular on ITV’s Love your Weekend. A passionate promoter of British grown flowers, Jonathan is a British Flower Ambassador and works closely with cut flower growers. He grows a wide selection of flowers & foliage in his Derbyshire garden that he uses in his demonstrations at flower shows and at his long-running flower school in Derbyshire.
Martin Fish
Martin started gardening as an apprentice on a Parks department and has a wealth of gardening knowledge. For many years he broadcast for the BBC & ITV and currently presents Pots & Trowels gardening videos and Podcasts on YouTube. He writes for Garden News, Kitchen Garden and the Dalesman magazine and is a RHS judge and chairs the RHS Tender Ornamental Expert Group. Martin & wife Jill live in Lincolnshire where they are developing their garden.
Jill Fish
Jill loves cooking, especially with fresh home-grown fruit and vegetables from their productive veg plot. As a home-cook, Jill has collated many recipes over the years from family and friends and recently co-wrote ‘Gardening on the Menu’ with husband Martin. When not cooking, Jill gardens in their Lincolnshire garden, writes for Kitchen Garden, The Dalesman magazine and co-hosts the Pots & Trowels gardening podcast. Jill and Martin also give talks to gardening and other groups.
