As we celebrate 10 years of Chorley Flower Show, we’re delighted to be joined by fantastic special guests.

JB Gill
JB Gill, who rose to fame as a member of one of the UK’s biggest boybands, JLS, will be heading to Astley Park on Sunday 27 July to be part of this year’s Chorley Flower Show.
From 11.30am, Sunday 27 July, on the entertainment stage, hear from JB about his journey from chart-topping fame with JLS, to becoming a passionate advocate for farming, children’s education, and storytelling.
JB will take part in a Q&A session and read from one of his books for children ‘Ace and the Animal Heroes: The Wacky Weather Mystery’.
Following this, head to the children’s zone tipi, where JB will be doing a meet and greet and book signing.
Local business ebb & flo bookshop will be at the children’s zone tipis from 10am so you can purchase a copy of the books ‘The Wacky Weather Mystery’ or ‘The Big Farm Rescue’ from the ‘Ace and the Animal Heroes’ series.
Now a presenter, author and musician, JB currently presents on the One Show, Winter/Springtime on the Farm and Cooking with the Gills with his family.
Having set up a farm many years ago, JB is also an established member of the farming community and most recently, JB published his second children’s book in his Ace and the Animal Heroes series and reached the final of Strictly Come Dancing in 2024 with his partner, Lauren.
Siobhan Murphy
Siobhan Murphy, British interior and fashion designer, and finalist on BBC show ‘Interior Design masters’, will be bringing her creative eye for design, and distinctive playful, joyous style as she creates a showstopping floral installation, and ultimate Instagram moment, for this year’s Chorley Flower Show.

Siobhan’s passion is creating beautiful spaces, transforming the bland to beautiful, the drab to decadent and always with a smile and a giggle, because life’s too short for boring interiors! Siobhan is also an author columnist and editor and her Instagram has amassed a huge following over the last few year.

BBC Radio Lancashire - Sharon Hartley
BBC Radio Lancashie's Sharon Hartley will be broadcasting from Chorley Flower Show, on Friday 25 July (until 1pm), talking to those involved and visiting the show.
Sharon will be one of the judges for the Community and Schools Garden competition at the show.
Sharon has been presenting the Daytime show on BBC Radio Lancashire since 2020. She enjoys spending time outdoors in Lancashire and lives in Garstang with her family.
We’ll be welcoming Martin Fish, Jill Fish and Jonathan Moseley back for all three days of the Chorley Flower Show as they share their expert knowledge and top tips with visitors, in The Potting Shed Garden Theatre.
Jonathan Moseley
Jonathan is well-known floral designer and popular demonstrator at flower shows and a regular on ITV’s Love your Weekend. A passionate promoter of British grown flowers, Jonathan is a British Flower Ambassador and works closely with cut flower growers. He grows a wide selection of flowers & foliage in his Derbyshire garden that he uses in his demonstrations at flower shows and at his long-running flower school in Derbyshire.


Martin Fish
Martin started gardening as an apprentice on a Parks department and has a wealth of gardening knowledge. For many years he broadcast for the BBC & ITV and currently presents Pots & Trowels gardening videos and Podcasts on YouTube. He writes for Garden News, Kitchen Garden and the Dalesman magazine and is a RHS judge and chairs the RHS Tender Ornamental Expert Group. Martin & wife Jill live in Lincolnshire where they are developing their garden.
Jill Fish
Jill loves cooking, especially with fresh home-grown fruit and vegetables from their productive veg plot. As a home-cook, Jill has collated many recipes over the years from family and friends and recently co-wrote ‘Gardening on the Menu’ with husband Martin. When not cooking, Jill gardens in their Lincolnshire garden, writes for Kitchen Garden, The Dalesman magazine and co-hosts the Pots & Trowels gardening podcast. Jill and Martin also give talks to gardening and other groups.
