Community and School Garden Competition

Due to popularity we have closed applications for the Community and Schools Gardens Competition.

 

Our popular Community Garden Competition returns to the Chorley Flower Show 2026 which takes place on Friday 31st July, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd August.

This popular competition is a hit with our visitors with the standard of competition for these mini show gardens going from strength to strength each year. The Chorley Flower Show attracts more than 12,000 visitors each year and this competition is a great way to get your message out to our visitors.

If you are a community group, charity, church, school or nursery then we would love you to get involved in this competition.

Due to popularity we have closed applications for the Community and Schools Gardens Competition.

The community garden competition is a judged competition at the Chorley Flower Show. You must be part of a community group, charity, church, school or nursery to be able to enter.

The gardens are approximately 2.2 metres x 2.2 metres in area and are a fabulous feature at the show.

Theme:

We are asking everyone who takes part in the Community Garden Competition to choose a a Blockbuster Film to theme their garden on. Please let us know which film you will be choosing on your application form.
